Street Outreach (2924)
We will engage a broad population at 65 9th Street; this is at the intersection of tech development, tourism and a neighborhood (Tenderloin) with a median income only half that of the rest id the city.
The social data on these interventions stresses that alleviating, immediate, concrete needs, is an important way of building trust. Our mid term interest to explore what types of technologies – web-based, mobile apps, RFID card – might be useful to support people Accelerate their engagement with city resources.
During the first 12-18 months, the focus of our pilot will be to get feedback and test our assumptions. The data we generate will be our basis to design and implement technologies in order to achieve outcomes for those we serve.
